Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This policy explains what Mindframe Studio does with your information when you connect your TikTok account and publish videos.
1. What we collect
- TikTok access and refresh tokens — issued to us by TikTok when you authorise the app, so we can upload to the account you connected.
- Your basic TikTok profile (display name and avatar, via
user.info.basic) — shown back to you so you can confirm which account is connected. - Videos you upload — stored so they can be previewed and published, and removable on request.
- Publishing records — video identifier, timestamp and status, so you can see what was published and troubleshoot failures.
- A session cookie — set after you authorise, so the browser you authorised in is the only one that can publish. It is not used for tracking.
We do not use advertising identifiers, tracking cookies or third-party analytics, and we do not build profiles of you.
2. How we use it
Your tokens are used for one purpose: publishing the videos you create to the TikTok account you connected, through TikTok's official Content Posting API. Nothing is posted without an action by you.
3. What we never do
- We do not read, download, scrape or display other people's TikTok content.
- We do not display TikTok content on this website.
- We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties.
4. Retention and deletion
Tokens are stored only while your account remains connected. If you disconnect Mindframe Studio, or ask us to remove your data, the tokens are deleted and access ends immediately. Publishing records are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted. Uploaded videos are deleted on request — email us and we will confirm when it is done.
5. Security
The service runs over HTTPS. Tokens are held server-side with restricted file permissions and are never written to logs or shared with any other service.
6. Content and licensing
Imagery used in generated videos is drawn from public-domain and CC0 collections (Metropolitan Museum of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, Cleveland Museum of Art, Openverse, Wikimedia Commons). Background music is composed by the application itself; no third-party recordings are used.
7. Children
Mindframe Studio is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above and publish the new version at this address.
